Sick!

I hate being sick! I knew when I started getting a sore throat Wednesday, it was an attack. I had declared to the staff on Tuesday that I was going to speak on Spiritual Warfare Sunday. I’m not one to attribute physical sickness to the spiritual but this time, I just knew! And one of the reasons I know is because Monday I started feeling better. In fact today, Tuesday, I’m almost 100%.

I truly sensed in the spiritual realm, something break free on Sunday. Even in the midst of not feeling well, I believe the Lord broke through some junk in people’s lives. We let so much get a hold of us and we just don’t seem to know how to break free. I believe the message on spiritual warfare truly empowered people to be set free.

I’m also excited about what I saw last Wednesday at the new Adult Series on “Relationships” in the sanctuary. There was a wonderful turn out and as people turned in the pews to have group prayer, I saw many wiping tears. I believe this series is going to assist many people in their relationships with family, neighbors and colleagues at work.

I would also like to ask for prayer for the Pensacola Encounter. I am more and more weighed down with the burden for those in the city who have significant physical, spiritual and family needs. I truly believe that God's delivering, saving, healing, renewing power that flows at the altars of Brownsville is an answer to meet those needs!
