One Day at a Time

My last entry was after returning from Lakeland, since that time I’ve been in dialogue with Todd Bentley a number of times. He called me Friday evening – the first night they were at Tiger Stadium. It was 6:45pm, and he said the crowd was so great it shut traffic down in the city of Lakeland. The stadium was packed with 12,000 people and several thousand outside, not able to get in. WOW! I sent him a text at 7:40 asking if he got in yet and he called at 7:45 saying he just got in and the service had started without him.

I watched the service Saturday night on God TV and it was very powerful. I wasn’t sure what was going to happen Sunday in Brownsville. I called Todd Sunday morning at 10am as I was about to enter the sanctuary and he prayed for me. It was powerful. At one point on the platform I couldn’t stand any longer. I knew if I didn’t get down on the floor prostrate before the Lord I’d fall over. I started to shake and didn’t know what was happening. But the intensity of the service just escalated.

I started calling out words of knowledge, and miracles started to happen. James Lewis, who’s leg was crushed in a horrific car accident, got out of his wheelchair and started to walk. Another lady was healed of vertigo. Come Lord Jesus, Come! I am just taking this now one day at a time!

Later Sunday afternoon I drove to Birmingham and spent all day Monday speaking to the staff of Pat Schatzline’s church, The Summitt. Again, what a powerful day. At the end of the morning session Pat came forward to the front of the room and said he’d just entered into a powerful presence of God. He said he hadn’t felt the presence of God that strong in a long time. The Lord truly poured out His Spirit in a great way and touched all the staff.

Chuck Brewster, the men’s pastor at Brownsville who spent 28 years in the Secret Service, left yesterday to spend the week with Todd in Lakeland. He’s going to assist them with security, they need some help. They’ve been going 35 nights in a row.

I’m excited and anxious, just waiting on God for what’s next!
