Lakeland Outpouring

I just returned from visiting the Lakeland Healing Outpouring with Todd Bentley. The event was held in the Lakeland Civic Center. Todd and his team were very gracious to us (Aaron Shreve and Jeff Jackson went with me). As the service began it was evident the crowd was very hungry and desiring a move of God. My impressions of Todd are that he’s very genuine and is only wanting to see God move in a powerful way. His whole team are very sincere in wanting God!

As Todd began to call out words of knowledge for miracles, people lined both sides of the wall by the stage to give testimony to God’s healing power. Then Todd moved to praying only for those who were completely deaf in one or both ears, and the terminally ill. He said, “If this is truly a move of God then he’ll open the ears of the deaf, and heal the terminally ill.” I thought that was very courageous and bold of him.

I am now looking for those great healing testimonies to come. The services will be moving this weekend to the 12,000 seat Tiger Stadium, and then they are hoping for a move to a permanent venue.

At one point in the service Todd called me forward and asked why I was there. I told him, “To receive an impartation of the Spirit in this Outpouring and to take it back to Brownsville to see God continue to move in that church” He then prayed for me, down I went! I’m now believing for a great Sunday at Brownsville. COME LORD JESUS, COME!!!
