Through the ministry of the Women’s Department of Brownsville Assembly of God
Combined group settings
are also provided several times throughout the year.
These include events such as Retreats, Day Shopping Trips, Fashion
Shows, Women's Conferences, and Christmas Celebrations. Each of these events offers an opportunity for individual
ministry as well as provides a safe environment in which your family members,
co-workers, and neighbors can experience the fellowship of believers and the love
of Christ.
Outreach
opportunities are also provided.
Partnering with the Brownsville
church family, the Women's Department ministers throughout the community on holidays
such as Mother's Day and Thanksgiving.
Mission
Statement
The Women's Department desires to
provide women with effective tools with which to work, and a safe environment in
which to heal, so they may experience wholeness in every area of their lives -
the spiritual, physical, mental, emotional, financial, and social. It is equally important that with their
newfound knowledge of who they are in Christ, these women also feel a sense of
responsibility for reproducing in others the same freedom and healing in which
they now live.
