For this Thanksgiving Sunday, we had the honor of having our very own Pastor
Chuck Brewster give the morning message. Chuck spoke about the difference of
being a legend and leaving a legacy to the next generations. A legend is what
people do and the stories that people tell about them. A legacy, however is
actually who we are and what is passed on. We are to leave a legacy. It is a
value that is passed on from one generation to another. The legacy that we, as
Christians must seek to leave is passing along God's blessings, His Word and
confidence in Christ. It is our duty, per the Word of God to leave a Godly
inheritance to our children. We must help our children, desiring for them to
come into their own faith, not merely being dependent on ours. In addition, we
must help the next generation to build their own legacy, that they too will pass
down.

Continuing in his series, "Walking in the Footsteps of Jesus", Pastor shared a
message today from Matt. 8:5-13. This message is where the Centurion's servant
was healed, all because the Centurion approached Jesus in great faith. He told
Jesus about his servant being paralyzed and ill, and Jesus said that He would
come and heal him. The great faith of the Centurion rose up and he told Jesus
that "if you will just say the word, my servant will be healed. For I, too, am
a man under authority, with soldiers under me, and I say to this one, 'Go" and
he goes, and to my slave, "do this" and he does it." Jesus marveled and told
those around him "Truly I say to you, I have not found such great faith with
anyone in Israel." Because of the Centurion's great faith, Jesus told him
"Go your way, let it be done to you as you have believed." And the servant was
healed that very hour.

Sunday's service was a celebration of Veteran's Day, honoring our military, past
and present. We were honored to have a Marine Corps Color Guard with us, and
we thank them for their service. Our worship quickly took us into revelation
of the Father's heart for us, with prophetic words coming forth from 5 different
members plus Pastor Evon. Two of the words were actually written out by members
prior to the service. God wove a scarlet thread through every prophetic word
that was given. As we worshipped, and then waited for the moving of the Holy
Spirit, God's message to us began to unfold, and continued throughout the entire
service. Pastor did not preach, but simply helped facilitate the moving of
God in these prophetic words. The scarlet thread was that God is knocking at
the door of our heart, and He wants us to let Him in, to do whatever He feels is
necessary in us, and for us to also do our part in the process.

We would like to thank Rick Pino and his team for ministering to us in
worship in such a mighty way on Friday night. Rick's humility and his
cutting-edge sound ushered us straight into the Throne Room. As he began, he
shared that you cannot enter into the Throne Room without first having
repented. Coming into the Presence of the Living God truly is Holy Ground, and
we must treat it as such. Rick's worship flowed from his heart and people were
drawn to the Lord very quickly. As Dutch Sheets says about Rick, "he truly is
a voice for this generation." We look forward to The Call rally in 2008 and
know God is going to do mighty things there. Thank you again to Rick and his
team for blessing us and for facilitating the Glory of God. We pray a
thousand-fold return on you and your families. This service is available for viewing here .
