This morning, there was an expectancy for breakthrough. Our worship
leaders and team did an outstanding job in leading us in breakthrough praise
with the song "Solid Rock". Derek came on the
platform and rapped for Jesus during the song and the congregation loved
it!

We had Pastor Otoniel Font as our special guest today. He
and his lovely wife pastor the largest church in Puerto Rico, and he ministered
at our main service and also during our Hispanic service. Pastor Font's
message was entitled "Dressed for Promotion". In his
teaching, he used Genesis 37 and 41 as his text, which was the story of
Joseph. He showed us three times that Joseph was given the chance for
promotion.

"Exploring God's Provision" & Brownsville Ministry Expo |
|
Today was our church ministry expo, where we showcased
ministries and had lots of fun, food and fellowship along the
way. The congregation went from booth to booth, which were
located all over the Brownsville
campus, to get their passport card signed or stamped with that
ministry. From dunk tanks for the worship dept. to Hispanic dancing
to the blow-up slide for our Voyage children's ministry, the day was filled
with fun for all!
