Appreciation
21 April 2008 19:53 | Pastor Scott
I write this with a heart full of love for you church. Brownsville has been a tremendous blessing to me. I went to the Awake America crusade in Cedar Rapids Iowa. I also have experienced a fresh touch as I listen to your services online, both during the revival and afterwards. When I saw the Palm Sunday service It is plain that the Holy Spirit is still moving at Brownsville.
I am a Pastor of a home missions church in Wisconsin. I have a deep love for your church. I also am a student of revival. I read a report online that your church attendance is down. I've heard reports from as few as 400 on a given Sunday to 2200. As a fellow Pastor I would like to pray for you folks I pray that God would heal any hurt feelings and bring back those who are not attending anywhere. My God continue to revive your church.
I've learned from much from Brownsville. I enjoyed your service on the Spiritual gifts. I saw a Pastor who deeply loves his congregation. I also thank you for putting the revival services online. The legacy of revival is tremendous. But what God is doing at the present time is pretty awesome as well.
Last night I was able to witness to a young lady who was at the end of her rope. It was a God thing at work. I may never have the privilege of preaching in a church of 2200 members, but I can touch lives one person at at time where we are. I am launching an outreach at our church called Lifeforce. We use the four spiritual laws as an evangelistic tool. I call it the one fish philosophy. When a group was in Canada fishing on a cold windy day they grew discouraged. The guide told them not to worry, we’re after one fish. As long as I can touch one life then I'm doing ok.
I hope this letter brings encouragement to you. I don't know if you see the emails you receive. As with you I love my church and am willing to die in this pulpit if that is what it takes to build the church. We run 12- 18 on a Sunday. A little smaller than Brownsville but we worship God and have a heart for souls. Please have your prayer group pray for souls in Hayward Wisconsin and that God would pour out his Spirit in the Northwoods.
We had the cornfield revival. We have had the Brownsville Revival. Now perhaps it's time for the Northwoods revival.
In any event I appreciate you. The same Spirit that burned in Steve Hill and Brother Kilpatrick burns in your heart. I appreciate this.

Thank you for making Andrew's dedication so special and meaningful! It was truly a joyous and significant day for us! Thank you for taking the time to meet with us and instruct us on the dedication. Thank you for encouraging strong families! My parents were honored to stand up with us and to agree in prayer with us for Andrew. We appreciate you and your leadership! We also benefited from the message, My parents enjoyed the message and service, too! It is wonderful how God moves!

Persistance

For over 20 years I've been seeking the baptism with evidence of speaking in tongues. I know when I became a Christian, I received the Holy Spirit into my heart but I always knew there was MORE. Whenever a call was given to come forward for prayer to receive, I would go. When I didn't receive the baptism after many years, I would get discouraged and give up and even question what I was doing "wrong". Recently I felt a new desire to be filled so I started going down again for prayer. Sunday was MY DAY! After a lengthy time of prayer, God did indeed baptize me and it was glorious! How thankful I am that I never gave up! I would encourage anyone seeking the baptism to never miss an opportunity to be prayed for because YOUR day will come!
thank you god

Get Ready!

I'm from from Boston. I would like to let you all know that i watched the video God is in the house and i was surprised. I felt a strong anointing. What i saw happing is God accomplishing his vision that he gave me in 2006 and 2007 when i was there for Branded By Fire. God Is about to do something new that is the continuation but in greater magnitude . This is the new wine that God has promised. He gave me a vision of a great wave of glory coming over the Brownsville church. He spoke to me and he said " i will move again in a different way and in a stronger Glory". He gave me a vision of huge number of people.coming This wave is not like what he did in past years. He showed to me greater glory, greater fire , greater worship, greater power, greater brokenness, greater oil. Brownsville get ready for God is Moving the waters.
God Bless You All
